Car, Truck, RV & Boat Donations

SAVE THE FROGS! is in search of cars that can be used for purposes such as giving free public lectures on the amphibian extinction crisis, and conducting scientific research. While we use fuel-efficient cars for these purposes, we are seeking donations of any car, truck, RV or boat, as we have partnered with a company that sells these vehicles at auctions or junkyards and donates a significant amount of the money earned to SAVE THE FROGS!. This company will pick up your used vehicle at any location in the United States, so please contact us if you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to SAVE THE FROGS! The process is simple and quick!

Computer Donations

Upgrading to a new computer and wondering what to do with your old one? SAVE THE FROGS! is in search of high-quality laptops. Please contact us if you have a functional laptop that is 2006 or newer.

Bequests to SAVE THE FROGS!

Include SAVE THE FROGS! in your will and make a significant long-term contribution to amphibian conservation. There are several ways to leave a bequest. Learn more here.

Matching Gifts Program

Many employers have programs in place in which they will match your contribution, thereby doubling your donation. Contact your employer to see if they have such a program in place. If they do not, ask them to start one.

How SAVE THE FROGS! uses your donation

Your donation will go directly towards amphibian conservation projects including:

(1) Conducting worldwide scientific research aimed at stopping amphibian extinctions. You can learn about some of our research projects here.
(2) Providing awards, grants and scholarships to students, postdoctorate fellows and academics involved in amphibian conservation.
(3) Promoting awareness of the amphibian crisis by coordinating the international Save The Frogs Day events; through live lectures at schools, zoos, museums, conferences and businesses; through improving the quality of environmental education in schools; and through the continued development of this website, which serves as a valuable educational resource to viewers worldwide.
(4) Defending amphibians' legal rights: we are currently building an Amphibian Legal Defense Fund so that we can challenge policies and proposals that harm amphibians. There is currently no legal defense team on the planet that is dedicated exclusively to protecting amphibians. With your assistance we can see that amphibian populations do not continue to disappear due to blatant human mis-management.
(5) Providing schools with free educational materials such as our How To Help Save Frogs posters, our Frogs of Australia poster, and our informational flyers.
(6) Building our Habitat for Frogs Fund, so that we will be able to purchase threatened habitat for critically endangered amphibians.
(7) Translating this website into as many languages as possible. Many of the world's most endangered amphibians live in non-English speaking countries so it is imperative that we provide educational resources to these countries as well. We have volunteers willing to translate this site into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Malagasy, Pidgin, Afrikaans, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin and Urdu, but we can not see this task through to completion until we have funds dedicated to the technical aspects of website development that are required.
