Litoria Fallax - Eastern Sedge Frog

Litoria Fallax - Eastern Sedge Frog

The eastern sedge frog is one of the most common frogs of eastern Australia. They are often found calling from sedges in suburban ponds. They have a very distinct ratchet-like call.

I found this frog in the Green Mountains area of Lamington National Park in southeast Queensland.

This photo is featured on the Frogs of Australia poster available in the FROG STORE. All proceeds go to SAVE THE FROGS! amphibian conservation projects. As if that's not cool enough, you get a free SAVE THE FROGS bumper sticker with your purchase!
