How does opening a card benefit SAVE THE FROGS?
SAVE THE FROGS receives a $50 donation from the issuing bank when your card is activated and used within 90 days of approval. Additionally, a percentage of every retail purchase made using the card will be donated to SAVE THE FROGS.
Is there an annual fee?
No, there is no annual fee.
Can I apply by mail?
Yes. Please download and mail in this PDF of the Mail-In Application. We encourage you though to apply securely online to help us reduce marketing and processing costs.
Is the online application process secure?
Yes! Your application will be transmitted through an encrypted security page.
Can I apply over the phone?
Unfortunately, not at this time.
What is the interest rate on the card?
0% for the first six month introductory period on purchases and balance transfers. After the six month introductory period, the interest rate will be the federal prime rate (no lower than 5.25%) + 5.65%.
Do I have to activate and use the card within a certain time period for SAVE THE FROGS! to receive the $50?
Yes. But you only need to use the card once within the first 90 days for us to receive the $50 bonus. Of course, we encourage you to make it your primary card because SAVE THE FROGS receives a percentage of every retail purchase...at no additional cost to you!
Can I see the Cardholder Ageement?
Yes. You can download the Cardholder Agreement here. The issuing bank will also send you this document with your approved card.
Who is the issuing bank?
UMB Financial Corporation is the issuing bank, and will handle your secure online application.
