Animalearn is the educational division of the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS). Animalearn works with educators, students, and others to achieve quality humane science education without the harmful use of animals. Animalearn's free loan program (The Science Bank) is the largest lending program in the USA and offers innovative humane science products that enable educators to teach and students to learn anatomy, physiology, and psychology lessons without harming animals. Thanks to Animalearn for helping end frog dissections!
Since 1951, the Animal Welfare Institute (AWI), a non-profit charitable organization, has been dedicated to reducing animal suffering caused by people. AWI seeks better treatment of animals in the wild, in homes, on the farm, in commerce, and in research. The organization promotes humane education in schools, including the replacement of animal dissections with suitable alternatives and the incorporation into curricula of materials teaching respect for animals and a greater understanding of the natural world.
At the Center for Biological Diversity, we believe that the welfare of human beings is deeply linked to nature — to the existence in our world of a vast diversity of wild animals and plants. Because diversity has intrinsic value, and because its loss impoverishes society, we work to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on the brink of extinction. We do so through science, law and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters and climate that species need to survive. We want those who come after us to inherit a world where the wild is still alive.
The Endangered Species Coalition is a national network of hundreds of conservation, scientific, education, religious, sporting, outdoor recreation, business and community organizations working to protect our nation's disappearing wildlife and last remaining wild places. Through education, outreach and citizen involvement, we work to protect endangered species and the special places where they live. We specialize in grassroots organizing mobilizing citizens to participate in the democratic political process. We believe grassroots power is the strongest political force to compel decision makers to protect wildlife and wild lands.
Generation Awakening launches creative, focused campaigns for the greater good of humanity, animals and our earth. Generation Awakening is a platform for individuals and organizations to come together to work with each other and governments on the most pressing issues of our generation. We strive to be the movement of our generation, igniting passion and inspiration to create tangible and lasting change in our world. With pooled resources and the power of numbers we can implement solutions and reach common goals faster and more effectively than working separately. The issues facing our generation in today's rapidly changing world are complex, but we've simplified them into the "Top 10 Changes". Most of the world's dire problems can fall into at least one of the changes, with many being intertwined. Focusing on these 10 top issues we can use creativity, collaboration, and technology to generate new ideas to bring forth a better world for our generation and generations to come.
41pounds.org is an organization working to eliminate a big personal nuisance and environmental hazard — junk mail. Our name comes from the amount of junk mail the average person receives each year (credit card applications, catalogs, coupon books, etc.) which for the most part goes directly into the trash can or recycling bin. Even with recycling programs all over the country, the majority of household waste is junk mail, and paper takes up about 40% of landfill space! We're proud to have raised tens of thousands of dollars for nonprofits while we reduce the impact of junk mail on the planet and our daily lives. Because of people like you who sign up for our service, we are all saving time, saving trees and saving the planet.
The International Association of Communication Activists is an international non-profit organization headquartered in Italy, founded in 2012 by young members from all over the world who have voluntarily come together to share their international expertise in institutional, private, media, academic and non-profit sectors over the years. IACACT members are passionate about building a better society, based on the values of social economy, human rights and solidarity, understanding and dialogue among people, equal opportunities and active citizenship, the eco-sustainable lifestyles and respect for the environment. To achieve these messages we develop and sustain communication free from either purely market or consumer based interests: it is important that every person is engaged, moving from spectator to social actor, becoming a witness of the experiences and values for which he/she undertakes.
Miss Earth South Africa is a leadership program that aims to empower young South African women with the knowledge and platform to create a sustainable difference in our plight to combat the destruction of our natural heritage. The program helps to create an awareness of sustainable development, our environment, wildlife and the conservation of our natural legacy in South Africa, and ultimately the preservation of Mother Earth. Our goal is to create sustainability, citizenship and stewardship through our environmental work.
The National Wildlife Federation is America's largest conservation organization. We work with more than 4 million members, partners and supporters in communities across the country to protect and restore wildlife habitat, confront global warming and connect people with nature.

The Wild Equity Institute unites the grassroots conservation and environmental justice movements in campaigns that build a healthy and sustainable global community for people and the plants and animals that accompany us on Earth. Our campaigns are founded in these movements' shared moral foundation: equity, the creation of a more just and fair world. Together we become a powerful force that can create a healthy and sustainable global community for all. Our campaigns highlight and redress the inequitable relationships across our human communities while improving our relationship to the lands in which we live.
