Sehr geehrter Herr Dr. Kerry, ich schreibe Ihnen diese E-Mail, um Sie über meine kürzliche Teilnahme an einem Frosch-Erhebungsprogramm im Kathmandu-Tal in Nepal zu informieren. Das Programm „Croaking Monsoon-2019“ wurde gemeinsam organisiert von:
- Zentrum für Umweltschutz und -forschung (ENPROSC)
- Begleiter für Amphibien und Reptilien Nepals (CARON)
- Goldengate International College (GGIC)
- Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN)
Das Hauptziel dieses Programms war die Untersuchung des Froschbestands in und um die Teiche des Kathmandu-Tals. Unser dreiköpfiges Team untersuchte rund 20 Teiche im Kathmandu-Tal und identifizierte drei Frosch- und Krötenarten ( Duttaphrynus stomaticus , Euphlyctis cyanophlyctis und Hoplobatrachus tigerinus ).
