Inspiring Cal Poly University Students to Save The Frogs!

February 22nd, 2013: California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA
SAVE THE FROGS! Executive Director Dr. Kerry Kriger spoke at the Central Coast Wildlife and Career Symposium about how to pursue a career in the field of wildlife conservation. Organized by the Wildlife Society and Cal Poly Wildlife Club, the symposium hosted speakers from government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations to inspire students on how to successfully reach their goals toward a career in wildlife conservation. Several of the Cal Poly students are planning to volunteer for SAVE THE FROGS! and we look forward to incorporating them into our frog saving activities!

“I would like to take this opportunity to first and foremost THANK YOU for attending and presenting at this years Central Coast Wildlife Roundtable and Career Symposium! The event was an incredible success, and we have received amazing feedback from both students and professionals on how much they all enjoyed and learned from the event! This has been touted as one of the best years yet, and this truly was because of all your availability and generosity. To all of our morning presenters and afternoon panelists, the Cal Poly Wildlife Club, myself and my committee would like to extend our warmest thanks for taking time out of your busy schedules to share with us about the amazing work you do. We all hope you enjoyed the event as much we did!”
