Introduction
SAVE THE FROGS! believes that a healthy planet depends not only on thriving ecosystems but also on strong democratic values and the freedom to speak up for nature.
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, SAVE THE FROGS! neither endorses nor opposes any political candidates or parties. Our mission is to protect amphibians and the ecosystems they depend on ā a goal that transcends politics and unites people from all backgrounds.

Nonpartisan, But Never Neutral About the Environment
While SAVE THE FROGS! does not endorse or oppose political candidates, we are deeply committed to sharing science-based information that helps our supporters make informed decisions about issues that affect frogs, wildlife, and the environment. Healthy wetlands, clean water, and biodiversity conservation rely on public awareness and action. By providing accurate data and amplifying the voices of scientists and conservationists, we empower citizens to vote, advocate, and lead with knowledge and compassion.
We believe that elected officials should be held accountable for their environmental decisions and voting records. Politiciansā past actions speak louder than campaign promises, and their votes directly impact the health of our planet. SAVE THE FROGS! helps ensure that voters have access to accurate information about how candidates have supportedāor failed to supportāpolicies that protect wildlife, wetlands, and the environment we all depend on.
SAVE THE FROGS! has helped enact federal, state and local legislation that benefits amphibian populations. Learn about many of our campaigns here.

Upholding Democracy and Freedom of Speech
We believe that democracy, freedom of speech, and civic engagement are essential to safeguarding the natural world. These principles allow individuals and communities to speak out on behalf of endangered species and to challenge policies that harm our shared environment. At SAVE THE FROGS!, we stand firmly for the right of all people to participate freely in shaping the future of our planet.
We oppose all forms of corporate intimidation and anti-free speech harassment, including Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs) and other tactics used to silence environmental advocates. SAVE THE FROGS! stands with individuals, organizations, and journalists who exercise their right to speak truth to power and defend nature without fear of retaliation.

Peace, Cooperation, and Shared Responsibility
Environmental protection is an act of peace. A healthy planet with healthy ecosystems provides the abundance of natural resources that enables humans to live in peace, even on a crowded planet.
Our worldwide amphibian conservation initiatives reflect our belief that harmony among people and harmony with nature go hand in hand. Every action we take ā from building wetlands to educating and inspiring future conservationists ā is grounded in respect, cooperation, a commitment to nonviolence, and a desire to create a better world for humans and amphibians.
We are excited that people from diverse backgrounds share our love of frogs, peace, and freedom of speech. From Portland to Hong Kong, activists are speaking out in creative ways ā to defend wildlife and promote nonviolent advocacy for the environment.

Protecting the Earth Together
The challenges facing amphibians are vast, from habitat loss and pollution to climate change and disease. But together, through science, education, and civic engagement, we can create a world in which humans and wildlife thrive side by side.
SAVE THE FROGS! remains steadfast in our mission to defend amphibians and the environment. We encourage everyone to stay informed, speak up, and use their voices to shape a peaceful, sustainable future for all life on Earth.
šø Together we can SAVE THE FROGS! ā and strengthen the democratic and ecological foundations that sustain life itself.
