Event Report
Sylvan Heights Bird Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA hosted a Save The Frogs Day celebration on Saturday, April 30, 2022. As part of the largest month of science events for Earth month through NC SciFest, visitors to the park were given the opportunity to experience activities, games and displays focused upon frogs. The bird park wetland ecosystem provided a natural environment to connect frogs, birds and other wetland creatures, helping develop a better understanding and appreciation of nature and wildlife. Lots of fun and learning for all with additional take home crafts and prizes given out to reflect the day’s event.
“It was a great day! We were busy educating and enjoying the families who came, and there were lots of frog conversations going on all day! We even had a group of Boy Scouts who had camped nearby join in!”
