Event Details
Join SAVE THE FROGS! Founder Dr. Kerry Kriger and fellow frog enthusiasts for a walk to a frog pond and an open air discussion about amphibians and how we can save them from extinction. This event will take place completely outdoors, about halfway between Centreville and Gainesville, Virginia. We will meet at a parking lot and hike five minutes on a relatively flat trail through the woods to a rarely visited pond. We will spend a little over an hour looking and listening for frogs. Dr. Kriger will give a brief talk and answer all your questions about amphibians and how you can SAVE THE FROGS!
The event will take place from 6:15-7:45pm. Bring a headlamp or flashlight. The weather forecast says to expect cool weather, so no guarantee the frogs will be out, but we will have a good time regardless! Event will take place rain or shine. Come prepared for the weather. There will be no restrooms available.
To RSVP and get directions, email contact@savethefrogs.com with your name and the number of people in your party.
