EXCEPTIONAL OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN
Do you love frogs and want to learn first hand how nonprofit organizations are managed, while meeting lots of new contacts in the amphibian conservation world and providing significant assistance to your favorite frog-saving charity?
- Are you are organized, responsible, and dependable?
- Do you have basic technology skills and a willingness to learn what you don’t yet know?
- Do you have a solid internet connection?
- Do you have four hours per week to volunteer over the next three months?
If you answered YES! to all those questions, then you should consider applying to be an Executive Assistant for SAVE THE FROGS! Founder Dr. Kerry Kriger.
If chosen as the successful applicant, you will assist Dr. Kriger on a variety of tasks that can be done from your home computer from anywhere in the world. You will learn many new skills and have a much more in-depth understanding of amphibian conservation and the multitude of ways one can save the frogs and the planet.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to a couple questions I received after first posting this announcement:
What kind of work would I be doing?
I could list out five projects I have on my mind but they would not predict what tasks would come up once they are complete, so I prefer to not be specific. Generally speaking, you would be doing internet research and computer work that I either currently do myself or that does not get done at all due to my lack of time to do it. You would be helping me with things I need to do as they arise. Some of this would likely be very interesting and some of it possibly very boring (I suggest a good music playlist for such times). All of it would be helping SAVE THE FROGS! be more effective and I have no doubt you would expand your knowledge of amphibian conservation and likely make some important contacts. Rather than telling you that everything you do will be the most amazingly interesting projects imaginable, I prefer you go in expecting boring computer tasks, and that you be willing to take your chances that working directly with someone who has the knowledge, skills and connections you seek will yield significant benefit to your career.
If I have to leave to do some fieldwork for, let’s say 3 to 4 days, will I be able to complete my tasks on my return without affecting your work?
You could certainly go away for fieldwork. There are no strict timetables; I just expect an honest attempt to find four hours per week to assist. I understand sometimes that may not be possible.

True Story
The time I offered an Executive Assistant position in 2014, the successful applicant went on to gain employment with SAVE THE FROGS! and has traveled to tropical rainforests with SAVE THE FROGS! for free, on top of being a part of many other SAVE THE FROGS! adventures and successes. Anything is possible.
“The goal of an apprenticeship is not money, a good position, a title, or a diploma, but rather the transformation of your mind and character—the first transformation on the way to mastery.”
— Robert Greene, Mastery

Recommendation
Do you want to drastically increase your chances of success in life, and also improve your likelihood of becoming my Executive Assistant? If so:
- Take a week and read Benjamin Franklin’s Autobiography.
- Or listen to the audiobook of Orison Swett Marden’s Pushing To The Front (best done through the Librivox iOS/Android app). Both are free and in the public domain.
- Want something more modern and you’re willing to spend some money? Read Mastery by Robert Greene.
“My experience with SAVE THE FROGS! has been wonderful! I have the ability to work my own hours, from home, in my pj’s… What gets better than that? STF offers several volunteer job descriptions, allowing individuals to work behind the scenes (internet research, graphic design) or out in front (giving lectures, participating in events). I highly recommend volunteering for this organization, as the individuals involved are original, dedicated and successful!”
