Geographical Location: northern California coast

Applicants should be available to begin work May 17, 2021. The Institute for Wildlife Studies (IWS) is seeking highly motivated applicants for 2-4 full-time, seasonal biologists for amphibian surveys in remote areas of the northern California Coast from May 15-August 15, 2021. The primary project duties include but are not limited to: 1) surveying streams and wetlands for foothill yellow-legged frogs and northern red-legged frogs, 2) recording observations on these and other amphibians, and 3) collecting eDNA samples.
