SAVE THE FROGS! India conducted activities for the 9th Annual Save The Frogs Day (April 29th, 2017) throughout India, with the assistance of Save Environment and Welfare of Animals.
The major events conducted were a Seminar, Symposium, Drawing Competition, Quiz competition, Frog Race, Awareness Rally, Road safety for frogs etc. Professor Krishan Kumar Sharma, Former Vice Chancellor MDS University, Ajmer coordinated all the activities in these regions of India.
Our dedicated team has been celebrating Save the Frog day since its inception. Volunteers go to schools colleges, public to develop awareness for the protection of frogs. The events includes awareness rally, art and poetry contests and frog game competitions. They put up alert banners on the road side to prevent road kills. They organized seminars and training programmes on digital frog dissection and acoustic based identification of frogs and toads.
