SAVE THE FROGS! seeks a volunteer to help with our various campaigns, which could include efforts to protect habitat, reduce pesticide usage, slow the illegal trade of amphibians or similar activities that likely relate to politicians and governmental organizations.
SAVE THE FROGS! has a long history of successful legislative campaigns, from local policies banning the importation and sale of American Bullfrogs, to bills recognizing official state amphibians, and federal policies to remove invasive species and prohibit the importation of potentially harmful species that could spread diseases to native amphibians.
Your duties as Campaign Assistant may include:
(1) Developing and implementing campaign strategies;
(2) Writing articles and social media posts to raise awareness of the issue;
(3) Communicating with partner organizations and/or relevant government entities;

Experience & Background:
We are particularly interested in experienced and innovative individuals capable of promoting campaigns that would influence governmental policies. If you are hard-working, intelligent, dedicated to amphibian conservation, and have campaigning or legislative experience, this position would be perfect for you. If you have no campaign experience, but have excellent writing skills, we can give you the basic training so you can make a positive impact.
Location:
Volunteer can be based anywhere in the world with a reliable internet connection.
Commitment
- Volunteer must be able to commit eight hours per month to this position.
- Volunteer must be able to meet via Zoom video conference at least once per month.
