Dr. Mukhlesur Rahman Khan was a SAVE THE FROGS! volunteer and a professor in the Bangladesh Agricultural University’s Department of Fisheries Biology and Genetics in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Dr. Khan passed away on 31 October, 2012.
Dr. Khan arranged an educational event on the 4th Annual Save The Frogs Day at his university. About 80 teachers, PhD,
and Masters students from several institutions participated in the program. He was a dedicated amphibian lover in Bangladesh and conducted several studies in collaboration with Japanese researchers over the past decade. He published several research publications in national and international journals. We appreciate his dedication to amphibian research and education in Bangladesh.
Please help us to start a scholarship in Dr. Khan’s memory so that we can fund talented amphibian conservationists in Bangladesh. We are trying to raise $500 for the 2013 Professor Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Award for Amphibian Conservation. If you can donate $50 or higher towards this fund, we will gladly list your name in the Thank You section of the SAVE THE FROGS! Bangladesh webpage. Please Donate HERE! and then email contact@savethefrogs.com to let us know to direct your donation to the Professor Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Award for Amphibian Conservation.
Thanks!
