Leap Forward Into A Frog-Friendly (Nicole Green of Animalearn)

Long-time SAVE THE FROGS! supporter and science educator Nicole Green gives an online presentation entitled: “Leap Forward into a Frog-Friendly Science Class”. Description as follows…

Let’s put the life back into the life sciences. Frogs are one of the most commonly dissected animals in science classrooms today. Fortunately there are hundreds of innovative frog friendly resources that can be used to teach students anatomy without having to sacrifice amphibians. You will learn how you can help save frogs from dissection by converting to more humane and environmentally-friendly 21st century tech learning tools.

Nicole Green is the Director of Animalearn, an educational program of the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS) located in Pennsylvania. She has worked at AAVS for close to 20 years, helping to enlighten the public about the use of animals in science education and the numerous humane methods that can be used to replace them. Nicole currently serves as a Board Member at the Association of Professional Humane Educators (APHE) and as an Advisor to the Humane Education Coalition (HEC). Nicole holds a Master’s degree in Education & Innovation with an emphasis in Humane Education.”gave
