Your reservation on a SAVE THE FROGS! Ecotour is subject to our Ecotour Terms & Conditions (below) and the Ecotour Participant Agreement, Release and Acknowledgement of Risk (which you will be required to sign to join the tour). Please read these carefully and contact us if you have any questions.

Ecotours Terms & Conditions

Reservations

Reservations are limited and on a first-come basis. To reserve a space on an ecotour, a $1,000 per person non-refundable deposit via check or credit card is required to secure your spot on the trip. Full payment is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour, as described on the Ecotour Payments webpage. Failure to pay in full by that date may result in forfeiture of your deposit money and your space on the ecotour.

Cancellations and Refunds

You must notify us directly if you need to cancel your trip. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel.

The amount of your refund is determined by the date that you notify SAVE THE FROGS! of your cancellation, as described on the Ecotour Payments webpage. SAVE THE FROGS! cannot make exceptions to the reservation and cancellation policy for any reason, including personal emergencies. The reservation and cancellation policy applies to all reservations.

We recommend you purchase travel insurance from a third party, so that if an issue arises (such as health or family concerns), then your travel insurance could likely provide you compensation.

Ecotours Code Of Conduct

Ecotourists are expected to have read, understand and abide by the SAVE THE FROGS! Ecotours Code Of Conduct. Violating the Code Of Conduct can be grounds for dismissal from a tour without refund.

Ecotour Participant Agreement, Release and Acknowledgement of Risk

In order to take part on a SAVE THE FROGS! Ecotour, you will be required to sign a liability waiver acknowledging the inherent risks of ecotourism, and legally releasing SAVE THE FROGS! and affiliated trip operators and personnel from legal damages and consequences. We encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

Accommodations

Accommodations are based on double occupancy, unless otherwise indicated in the trip description or your ecotour invoice. If you are a single traveler wishing to share accommodations, we will try to match you with a roommate. If you wish to have private accommodation, then you may be able to upgrade for an additional fee if private accommodation is available.

Children On Ecotours

SAVE THE FROGS! Ecotours are adult-oriented, but SAVE THE FROGS! Ecotours are family-friendly, depending on the child’s age and experience. Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please contact us before sending a trip deposit for anyone under 18 years of age.

What if SAVE THE FROGS! cancels or postpones an ecotour?

In the event that SAVE THE FROGS! is compelled to cancel or postpone an ecotour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or other situations beyond our control, we are committed to ensuring a fair and considerate resolution for our participants.

Accordingly, all registered ecotourists will be offered the option to either receive a full refund of their payments made towards the tour or apply their payment as credit towards a future ecotour. This credit will be valid for a period of three years from the date of the canceled tour, providing flexibility for our participants to join another of our unique ecotour experiences. The credit could be claimed as a refund by requesting such via email to contact@savethefrogs.com anytime within the three year period. At the end of the three year period, any unused credit would become a donation to SAVE THE FROGS! worldwide amphibian conservation efforts.

We pledge to communicate any cancellations and subsequent steps as clearly and promptly as possible, with the aim of minimizing inconvenience and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our participants.

To ensure the highest level of protection against any unforeseen events that may affect your travel plans, we strongly advise all participants to purchase comprehensive travel insurance soon after booking their ecotour with SAVE THE FROGS!.
