Introduction
SAVE THE FROGS! seeks a frog friendly volunteer to assist with data entry. Successful applicant will have a high attention to detail and strong typing skills.
Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have the ability to avoid errors while typing, and patience, as data entry is not always the most exciting thing we can do with our time.
“I happen to have a huge fascination with wildlife and nature in general. Life in nature is really beautiful, and frogs help make up that beauty. Doing work that will contribute to the survival of frogs leaves me a sense of joy and relief.”
— Jerrell Agcopra
Your Mission
We will give you a data set that need to be cleaned up, edited, added to or altered, usually in a spreadsheet or database. We will provide you with thorough instructions. Usually everything for a given project can be finished in under an hour.
You will put on your favorite music, podcast or audiobook and get down to business entering or editing data, knowing that while it is not glamorous, what you are doing is critical to mission success.
“I have been passionate about frogs since I was a child. Doing any data or policy related work with SAVE THE FROGS! would be an incredible experience. I love frogs, data, and communications work and I want to help out in any way I can to help preserve and protect these amazing creatures.”

“I am interested in volunteering for SAVE THE FROGS! because I am, and have always been very passionate about herpetology, and wildlife in general. My goals are to help do my part towards preserving drastically declining amphibian populations and also learn more about the field of herpetology. A volunteering opportunity at SAVE THE FROGS! would allow me to gain experience in this field, and hopefully introduce me to scientists working with these fascinating animals.”
