Save The Frogs Day 2025
The 17th Annual Save The Frogs Day (April 28th, 2025) was a global celebration dedicated to protecting amphibians and their habitats. At least 65 events took place across 23 countries: Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Cameroon, China, Colombia, Congo DRC, Finland, France, India, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, South Africa, Spain, United Kingdom, USA, Uruguay and Venezuela.
From art contests and educational seminars to habitat restoration and awareness rallies, the day brought communities together to take meaningful action for frogs. The events inspired, educated, and empowered participants and volunteers of all ages to contribute to amphibian conservation and environmental stewardship.
We send a huge thank you to all the event organizers and participants, as well as our generous donors, who enabled us to disburse $13,544 in Save The Frogs Day Grants to make many of these events possible. Together we made this the most successful Save The Frogs Day yet!

A Message From Pakistan
Dear Dr. Kerry,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out to ask about the Save The Frogs Day grant. I’m excited to learn more about this opportunity. As a secondary school biology teacher, I’m passionate about teaching my students about amphibian conservation. I believe that children are the perfect age group to target, as they’re curious and eager to learn. I plan to organize nature walks and interactive talks to raise awareness about the importance of amphibian conservation. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards.

Iran
Dear Dr. Kerry Kriger,
I hope this message finds you well. I am the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Engineering at GUASNR, Iran. Our institution manages the Shast Kalateh Educational and Research Forest, a pristine 3,000-hectare forest located in North of Iran Near Gorgan City, Golstan province.
We are inspired by the impactful work of SAVE THE FROGS! and the global efforts to raise awareness about amphibian conservation. Given the ecological significance of amphibians in maintaining forest ecosystems, we are eager to bring this initiative to Iran.
Our faculty is planning a Toad Festival in the Shast Kalateh Forest, coinciding with the breeding season of local toad species. This event aims to highlight the ecological role of amphibians and the importance of preserving their habitats. We would be honored to collaborate with “Save The Frogs” to align our event with the goals of Save The Frogs Day and benefit from your expertise in organizing such programs.
Our team is committed to making this event a success and fostering long-term conservation efforts in the region. We believe this collaboration will significantly enhance amphibian conservation awareness in Iran and contribute to the global mission of “Save The Frogs.”
We look forward to establishing a meaningful partnership.
Warm regards,
Hashem Habashi
